Fair Oaks Pharmacy and Soda Fountain

Things changed, was hoping this childhood magical place would be the same. Drove far for disappointment. Not the great soda fountain of yore. A shame. Not the treat I was waiting for.

We stumbled across this little gem that’s been in business for over 100 years (108 to be exact)! Brandon greeted us with enthusiasm and gave us the lowdown. We sat at the soda fountain part and had a Coke Sundae made with a special syrup that you can’t find anywhere else. The Coke gummies were the literal cherries on top! We were definitely thrown back in time. So magical — and they still have a working pharmacy! We’ll definitely be back. PS: There’s also a secret menu hiding in the store…

This place is so cute. It's exactly what l imagined a retro soda fountain shoppe to be like. It's an immersive experience coming to Fair Oaks Pharmacy since their decor, merch and menu items are a true throwback to decades before now. I felt like a kid again coming here and was so excited to check it out since I grew up around here yet had never visited. I came with four of my friends and we were able to find a table inside to sip on our treats.

Nice place to bring the kids. There were lots of nostalgic candy for sale. The dessert options were good, a bit overpriced but it was a nice experience.
