This joint definitely has an East Coast vibe. I tried their Italiano, which is basically an Italian hoagie, and I have to say it's a very solid version. I'd probably prefer a more peppery ham, but all in all, I was much more impressed than I expected to be.

This is one of the most famous spots in LA, and we wanted to see what all the buzz was about. In our opinion, its delicious. The sandwiches are really big, so we would recommend getting one to share. I have yet to go to Fat Sal's for their regular menu. I have only gone for their collaborations. I loved the Coming to America collab when they turned into Mc Dowels. The food was amazing! This time we went for the Rickmas collab. Honestly the smash burger with pickles, fried pickles and pickled flavored ketchup was perfect.
