Indigo Cow is Los Angeles's home of authentic Hokkaido milk soft serve, the first ice cream parlor in America to craft soft serve using milk sourced directly from Iwase Farm in Sunagawa, Hokkaido. Founded by Keisuke (Kay) Kobayashi, who grew up in Hokkaido and wanted to share the taste of home, the shop pairs its signature creamy soft serve with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and inventive flavor combinations. The milk is famously rich, clean, and silky, with a naturally delicate sweetness that keeps guests coming back. The parlor suits everything from quick solo treats to date nights and group hangouts at its West Los Angeles location.
