Amazing Filipino Breakfast in Wicker Park!

Would you wait 1.5 hours for @kasamachicago brunch? I loved everything I ordered: maiz con Leche (corn milk tea), tocino Filipino breakfast, and the ube and huckleberry basque cake! The flavor of the maiz con leche was so surprising! Definitely give it a try if you like corn! Also the tocino was not just like any normal Filipino breakfast, you can really taste the quality of the meat! And the ube huckleberry basque cake is a must order (also rep the Philippine sun!) 🇵🇭

If you’re in Chicago, you have to check out Kasama! They are a Michelin-starred modern-Filipino restaurant serving up the best breakfast and pastries. You seriously cannot miss out on their breakfast sando!

Kasama is the first ever Filipino restaurant to receive a Michelin Star 🇵🇭 I ordered online for pickup. I tried: their longanisa, egg, and cheese sandwich + added a hashbrown, and ube and huckleberry cake.

Truly some of the best pastries in town! Ive only been to Kasama for their breakfast (their Michelin Star dinner is always sold out!) but I’m a huge fan of their baked goods. They also serve delicious drinks like this sesame latte. I recommend coming early before they open- especially on the weekends!
