Portland, OR transplant, Lardo, is located in slightly upscale food court, Block 16, at The Cosmopolitan hotel. I’ve tried a couple of places at Block 16, but this time I wanted to try the famed Porchetta sandwich & Dirty Fries at Lardo. It’s nothing like a traditional Porchetta in Rome, Italy, but I still really enjoyed the sandwich, which was quite flavorful; the fries were nothing special. Service was a little slow, but it was busy. #sandwich #pork #fries #fastfood

I never thought I’d say one of my best meals of 2024 would be a Grilled Cheese, but here I am saying it! The “Beeria” Grilled Cheese from Lardo(@ Block 16 food hall inside The Cosmopolitan hotel) features Modelo Braised Beef, Oaxaca & Jack Cheese,Cilantro, Onion, Lime on Sourdough bread with Chili Consommé, and it was outrageously delectable! This was one of the best Grilled Cheeses I’ve ever had. The Porchetta with Slow Roasted Pork, Caper Mayo, Arugula, Gremolata and Parmesan was topnotch too.
