Since October of 2007, Macello has transported diners to another place and time. We specialize in Pugliese cuisine, inspired by the nostalgic reflections of our two owners, both with strong ties to this southern Italian region. Our menu takes advantage of many of the coastal region’s unique seafood and pasta dishes. Always traditionally-inspired and fresh, we strive to capture the Old World charm and authenticity in our West Loop restaurant. From the two wood-burning ovens kept fired to the finest ingredients, at Macello you will find a taste of the Adriatic like no other.
