Magpies Softserve is a chef-owned dessert cafe on York Blvd in Highland Park, Los Angeles, built around scratch-made soft serve and inventive soft serve pies crafted with real ingredients rather than pre-made mixes. Founded by partners Warren and Rose Schwartz, both classically trained chefs, the shop applies genuine culinary craft to bold, nostalgic flavors. Guests rave about the signature soft serve pies, particularly the cornflake variety, as well as fruit-forward flavors like passionfruit orange.
