Great Japanese food in north county

Ramen Mik has had its time to shine on social media, focusing on their Hokkaido style ramen. Their noodles are super chewy, but I do like my ramen thicker! The soup base was very spicy, and although I did opt for a spicy version and love my spicy food, I also wish I tasted more of the Miso. The Chicken Katsu was nicely fried and was super crunchy, but I was hoping the curry would be more flavorful.

A bit pricey for what was served, similar to coco.

I had high expectations for this place. The takoyaki was yummy, I personally liked it more cooked with a crispy outside so this hit the spot. The pork katsu curry was a bit disappointing. The pork katsu itself was very crispy but a lil overcooked. The curry was underwhelming. We also got onigiri which was a waste of money. I got the tuna mayo one and it was 95% rice and barely any tuna mayo. Service was good and the restaurant is in a strip mall and there’s plentiful of parking.
