Really good meat quality you shall find at Saemaeul. No wonder they say that they’re the original KBBQ!

The KBBQ at Saemaeul Restaurant was un-grill-evable! We tried the following: 🧀Cheese Gyeran Jjim (steamed egg with melted cheese) 🍱Yetnal Dosirak (lunch box) 🥩MEATS 1) Special Mix Combo X Large 2) Beef Special Combo Small 🍲STEWS 1) Doenjang Jjigae (soybean paste stew) 2) Kimchi Jjigae (kimchi stew) The meats here were great quality - beautiful marbling that made the meat tender and tasty. I was obsessed with the Cheese Gyeran Jjim (what’s not to love about cheese and egg??)

This was a nice change compared to all you can eat Kbbq. This is somewhere in the same vein as Baekjong down the road. The service and staff were fantastic. Touched our table multiple times. The food itself was ok. You can see the meat quality was great and quality. The Steamed Egg, Lunchbox and Rice balls were ok. The biggest Highlight was actually the Kimchi stew, which had the most flavor. It surprised us both. Although the meat was good, I wouldn't say it was phenomenal for the price.

With the choice of their combos or individual meats, the best part here is that the staff cooks for you! I’m always a fan of korean barbeque. I didn’t have to worry about overcooking it and the best cut I had was the beef rib finger. Their kimchi stew and cold noodles were also a favorite as it fits perfectly with the meats. Their steamed egg was full of cheese and corn which you can’t find anywhere else. The meats were very tender and melted in my mouth

Marbling that’s out of this world, cuts so tender they practically melt in your mouth, and flavors that’ll leave you speechless – this Korean BBQ is perfection!
