Combining great service, atmosphere and product! Established in 2006. Sushi Lounge was an idea conceived by two friends while working together for another restaurant, Sushi on the Rock. Katie was the Manager of Operations and started their Catering department. Frank was a sushi chef in the La Jolla location for 7 years, assisted in the opening of Carlsbad and was their Head Sushi Chef. The two friends purchased Sushi Poway in 2006 and after renovations opened Sushi Lounge Poway as a new concept. Sushi Lounge offers a fresh alternative with emphasis on quality ingredients, a warm lounge-like atmosphere, and hospitable and informative service with a relaxed, friendly vibe. Following Poway, Frank and Katie brought their sushi style to the coast and opened Sushi Lounge Encinitas in 2012 and Sushi Lounge Point Loma in 2016. Sushi Lounge is committed to making a difference in our surrounding communities through volunteering and charitable contributions. We are proud supporters of our commu
