Bank Connection & Withdrawals
1. How do I connect my preferred card?
Connecting your card is easy and secure. Our app uses Plaid, a trusted financial services company also used by Venmo, to link your credit card to Franki. This is required to track purchases and reward your cash back.
If you cannot find your bank when trying to link your bank account, reach out to support@frankiapp.com and we will help you determine the best path forward.
- Go to the "Wallet" tab in the app.
- Tap the "Cards" button at the top of the screen.
- Follow the instructions to connect your bank account securely.
- Most banks are supported, but some credit unions may not be accepted. If you run into any issues, email us at support@frankiapp.com.
2. Can I connect more than one card?
Absolutely! You can connect multiple cards. Remember, we can only reward cash back if the card used for the purchase is linked to your Franki account.
3. How do I withdraw my earnings?
Your earnings go straight into your Franki Wallet. You will need to link a bank account (also through Plaid) to withdraw your earnings.
To transfer earnings to your bank account:
- Open your wallet in the app.
- Tap the 'Withdraw' button at the top of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to complete the transfer.
Please be advised that transfers may take 5-10 business days.
4. Why does my card keep getting disconnected?
Sometimes your bank accounts may refresh access to Plaid to ensure security. If this happens, you can easily relink your card, and we'll track any missed purchases from the past 30 days.
Reward Payments
1. When can I expect my reward to be paid to my wallet?
We aim to process rewards as quickly as possible, but sometimes there can be a delay of up to 10 business days for rewards like cash back offers, depending on how long it takes your bank to approve the transaction. This is rare, but some credit cards may take longer for transactions to post. For other rewards, like the video posting bonus, you'll receive your reward as soon as your video is approved by our moderation team. This can take up to 1-2 business days.
2. What is the “Pending Transactions” section?
Pending transactions are videos you have uploaded that are currently being reviewed by our content moderation team. This process can take 1-2 business days. Once approved, they'll show up in your earnings.
Why did my withdrawal transaction fail?
Here are a few reasons why your earnings withdrawal may have failed:
- Frozen account - Your bank or credit union account may have been frozen. Please contact your bank or credit union to resolve the issue.
- Other reasons - A bank or credit union rejects the transaction for some other reason. Please contact your bank or credit union to inquire.
If a transaction fails, please contact your bank or credit union to check on the status of your account. Then either re-initiate the transaction or ask your financial institution why the transaction cannot be processed. If you have additional questions, reach out to support@frankiapp.com.
