What is the Franki Social Club?


The Franki Social Club is your ticket to exploring local gems and sharing your experiences! Earn awesome rewards just for discovering and recommending cool spots. Whether you're posting videos, making purchases, or interacting with content, you can rack up cash, badges, and other cool goodies.


How do I get started with the Franki Social Club?


Jumping in is a breeze! Create a Franki account and link your preferred debit or credit card, and you're all set. Start posting videos, making purchases, and completing Adventures to watch the rewards roll in automatically.


What are the different types of rewards I can earn?


There are tons of ways to score rewards! Earn cash back when you shop at local businesses you find on Franki, get bonuses for your videos, and collect rewards for helping others make decisions with your awesome recommendations.


How can I track my progress and rewards?


Keeping tabs on your rewards is super easy. Just check your wallet in the app. It might take a day or two for updates to show up, but don't worry - everything is automated and will pop up in your wallet soon.


Bank Connection & Withdrawals


We follow a set of principles to guide how bonuses are awarded:


1. How do I connect my preferred card?

Connecting your card is easy and secure. Our app uses Plaid, a trusted financial services company also used by Venmo, to link your bank account to Franki. Here's how to do it:
a. Go to the "Wallet" tab in the app.
b. Tap the "Cards" button at the top of the screen.
c. Follow the instructions to connect your bank account securely.
Most banks are supported, but some credit unions might not connect. If you run into any issues, just email us at support@frankiapp.com!


2. Can I connect more than one card?

Absolutely! You can connect multiple cards. Be sure to link your debit account for withdrawing your rewards, and your preferred purchasing card (usually a credit card) to get cash back. Remember, we can only reward cash back if the card used for the purchase is linked to your Franki account.


3. How do I withdraw my earnings?

Your earnings go straight into your Franki Wallet. To transfer them to your bank account:
a. Open your wallet in the app.
b. Tap the 'Withdraw' button at the top of the screen.
c. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer.


4. Why does my card keep getting disconnected?

We know it's frustrating, but your bank disconnects your card for security reasons to make sure you still want it linked to Franki. While we can't control this, you can easily relink your card, and we'll track any missed purchases from the past 30 days. Thanks for your patience!


Reward Payments


1. When can I expect my reward to be paid to my wallet?

We aim to process rewards as quickly as possible, but sometimes there can be a delay of up to 10 business days for rewards like Cash back offers, depending on how long it takes your bank to approve the transaction. This is rare, but some credit cards may take longer. For other rewards, like the video posting bonus, you'll receive your reward as soon as your video is approved by our moderation team this can take up to 1-2 business days.


1. What is the “Pending Transactions” section?

Pending transactions are videos you have uploaded that are currently being reviewed by our content moderation team. This process can take 1-2 business days. Once approved, they'll show up in your earnings.


Rewards


1. How does Cash back work?

Cash back is based on the amount you spend at participating businesses where you activated a cash back offer. To receive the reward, you must make a purchase using your connected card within 14 days of activating the offer. This is limit to one purchase per cash back offer activated. If you make multiple purchases in one visit, we will award the highest purchase amount.


2. How does Video Cash back work?

The "Video Cash back" feature allows you to earn additional cash back by posting videos of your dining experiences at participating restaurants. For example, if you activate a 5% Cash back offer and post a video (+1% Video Cash back), you get 6% Cash back on your purchase.


3. How does Posting Videos Reward work?

You can earn a reward for each video you post about your experience at a business, limited to one video per business location every 30 days. If you have a favorite spot you visit frequently, you can post a new video after every 30 days and earn another reward for the same business.


4. How does Video Cash back work?

Earn a 'Rec Bonus' for all the purchases that people make through the content you post. For example, if someone activates a Cash back offer on your video and spends $100 at the business, you will earn a percentage of the $100.


5. How does Video Cash back work?

The "Level Up Bonus" rewards you with additional points or special benefits when you reach a new tier in the rewards program. Check the "My Rewards" section for specific details on your level-up bonuses.


Leveling up


1. What are levels in the rewards program?

Levels are all about showcasing your progress and rewarding you for being an active member of our community! As you move up the levels, you unlock new and exciting rewards, plus bigger and better rewards. The more points you earn and activities you complete, the higher you'll climb, giving you the chance to stand out and earn even more awesome perks. Keep engaging and watch your rewards stack up!


2. How do I move up levels?

You move up levels by meeting specific requirements, such as making purchases at local businesses and sharing your experiences through videos or ratings. Each level has its own set of requirements, which you can find in the overview tab of your wallet.


3. What are the benefits of higher levels?

Higher tiers offer unique benefits and rewards, such as:
a. Increased reward amounts.
b. New ways to earn rewards.
c. Access to exclusive events and features.
d. Enhanced visibility for your content.


GiGs


1. What are GiGs?

GiGs are your chance to earn rewards by exploring new spots and sharing your experiences, or by showcasing your favorite hangouts! Follow the rules for each GiG, and you'll have a shot at winning some cool prizes. Find GiGs in the “Search” tab under “Offers.”


Note: GiG submission end dates vary by location, so check the details for your area!


2. What are Venue GiGs?

Venue GiGs are tied to specific locations. To complete a Venue GiG, visit the designated business, share a video about your experience, and follow the rules to enter.


a. Anywhere GiGs

Anywhere GiGs give you the freedom to visit any business within a specified area, like Los Angeles. Share your experience from any spot within the area to participate.


b. How do GiGs work?

GiGs are challenges with specific rules you need to follow for a chance to win prizes. Simply post a video that follows the rules outlined in each GiG, and you could be a winner!


c. Am I guaranteed to win a GiG?

No, entering into a GiG does not guarantee a win. Each GiG has a set number of prizes, as well as rules. If you follow the rules, you're eligible to win a prize. But, if there are more videos than prizes, only the cream of the crop will win!


Adventures


1. What are Adventures?

Adventures are exciting multi-step challenges that offer bigger rewards! They invite you to explore more and post more, ranging from visiting new places to sharing awesome content. Think of it as a quest, like hitting up 20 different cocktail bars!


2. How do Adventures work?

Activate an adventure, and we'll automatically track your activities and count them towards your progress. Make sure to read the requirements and check the deadlines to complete the adventure and earn those amazing rewards. Get ready for some fun and start your adventure today!


What are the Franki Community Guidelines?


In the spirit of community, our Franki Locals are posting helpful and relevant videos, so people can eat better, drink well, have more fun, and just generally be happier! If we believe that any member of the fund is taking away from that spirit - posting irrelevant content, being rude, etc. - we do have the right to remove them from the fund.
