Beeside Balcony is an award-winning Mediterranean restaurant perched above Prospect Street in La Jolla, offering sweeping ocean views from both its outdoor patio and intimate indoor dining space. Led by Chef Christophe Cevasco, who grew up in Nice, France, the kitchen channels the flavors of the French coast and wider Mediterranean into every dish. The menu spans seafood, hearty mains, and vibrant small plates, with standouts like pesto shrimp linguini, grilled octopus, and truffle parmesan fries earning consistent praise from guests. Signature cocktails, many infused with house-produced honey, complement the food beautifully. The restaurant also features a hidden speakeasy in the back, and a three-course dinner menu at $55 per person suits celebrations and special occasions well.
