Black Bear Diner Buena Park

I was craving pancakes for breakfast and these were so fluffy and delicious. Also the breakfast burrito is served all day not just in the mornings compared to other restaurants. Ordered via phone for takeout and it was quick/easy/convenient.

Good kids meal selection. Pancake tastes good, sometimes hash brown can be a bit cold.

Traditional American breakfast spot with a wide variety of menu options and generous portions that offer great value. The kids’ menu is especially well done, with quality choices and plenty of variety that children will enjoy. The cute bear-themed concept adds charm and a family-friendly atmosphere. The interior feels a bit dated, but it doesn’t take away from the overall experience and a light refresh would make the place even better.

Food quality has been consistent. The interior could use some updating.

First time trying black bear diner and it was great! The waffles were the best part - fluffy on the inside but has a nice crispy crunch on the outside. The space is very clean and the decor is very homey !
