Black Bear Diner - El Cajon

The pumpkin pancakes are a must ! They are seasonal but please get them before the season ends. We tried the Caesar salad patty melt with onion rings and the big breakfast with grits . The patty melt wasn’t that great. The big breakfast with grits was delicious!

Pumpkin pancakes, yes please! They have the best breakfast here. Biscuits and gravy, love the cinnamon roll French toast. And I love an order of the cheesy grits! Service is always great.

Great breakfast spot in El Cajon! Huge portions! Country fried steak is my favorite!

Best breakfast spot ever. Love the breakfast, love the lunch, love the dinner. Everything is so good here. They have pumpkin pancakes right now that are the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The grits are delicious. I love the strawberry lemonade too!
