Carl’s Jr. in downtown LA was busy on Friday morning with many people grabbing coffee ☕️ or a quick breakfast before work. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food is still greasy and average.

Honestly, its givinng mcdonalds spicy mcchicken. Nothing too crazy, i would have asked for ketchup on the side instead of ranch had i known.

The Super Bowl hangover burger it was pretty good and interesting.

A Western bacon cheese burger and some zucchini. This location was so busy a little under cooked today.

Fast food burger, nothing that special but decent portion size and filing. Fries were very disappointing and soggy.

I naturally take note of how dark sodas are when they pour out of the drink fountain. Usually that’s a great way to decipher if it’s high quality. The way this Coke pours out of the fountain at Carl’s Jr. may be brown, but it’s not as dark of a brown as the Coke at a restaurant like Del Taco or In-N-Out. That doesn’t mean it’s bad Coke or that I wouldn’t recommend Carl’s Jr., but for those who enjoy soft drinks, the color matters. Not bad, but there are better places to go for Coke than here.
