Before a matinee at Chicago Shakespeare Theater Reunion’s brunch is one of the best bites on the pier. Chicken and waffles and the lobster and shrimp roll. Add in my hummingbird cocktail inspired by the cake and my companion had a mocktail.

Chef Art Smith , celebrity chef who at one point was Oprah’s personal chef, has opened up another restaurant in a tourist trap , Navy Pier . I personally prefer his econcept in Disney , but this place had a cool patio right at the front of the Pier’s boardwalk . #southern #chicago
