Daydream Surf Shop

Daydream Surf Shop is a cafe and surf shop tucked into a 1,500-square-foot warehouse on the border of Newport Beach and Westside Costa Mesa, founded by Kyle Kennelly and Rebecca Mantei on hard work, a shoestring budget, and a lot of help from friends. The area carries a rich legacy of surf brand origins and post-war surfboard production, and that spirit runs through everything about this place. Guests come for the coffee and stay for the laid-back surf-culture atmosphere, with breakfast options rounding out the menu. The space also features a fun photo booth, and the main entrance is found on 16th Street.
