This is a great place for fresh seafood. They have an oyster bar, which I didn’t try, as well as salads, soups and the usual mains. They serve draft and bottled beer, as well as sake. The clam chowder had fresh clams, the crab louie salad had tons of fresh crab, and their fries are thick, crispy and salty. Best part is they have my fave Japanese beer, Hitachino. Worth a visit!

Fishwives is a comfortable place for hanging out. The place is clean and not crowded at past noon. Service is very good, no special concern. The branzino is fresh but not as fresh as when I first visited this place. For less price than what I paid for, I got a whole fish. Today it was only half. Presentation is good though.

Good food even tho it’s at a little pricy side, but it’s worth it. The smell of oil and cooking is all over the restaurant and it was too strong

Fishwives is a modern, New England style seafood & raw bar with CA flavors. The scallops, lobster roll, and fries were fresh and so gooood!

I liked the platters they offered. The shrimp, scallops, and oysters were good. I enjoyed the lobster roll but of course it was pricy. Not as good as the ones I’ve had in Boston though but decent. It was easy to get reservations.
