Southern Creole inspired steakhouse? Pretty good.

This is a special place that’s focusing on a cuisine we don’t see here in LA very often. The biscuits were unreal and the Southern staples like the etouffe and gumbo were standouts. My friends brought their baby and the staff gave her stuffed animals to keep her occupied. So kind!

We all enjoy comfort food! This is what henry parsons project is about. Local sourcing, fresh produce, creative menu. My favorite is gumbo, chicken katsu Benedict, and steak frites. Meat Flavorful, juicy and tender. Also i made sure i left room for dessert! Make sure you make reservations before hand. This restaurant only opens on certain week/days. I hear that it only opens when they are not out doing catering. So make sure you plan ahead and make reservation.

I finally got to go to Henry Parsons project! They serve southern dishes with a modern twist. I love all the food. Everything is very flavorful and unique. The fried oysters and fried with mushrooms so addicting. Their étouffées are the ultimate comfort food. The fried chicken is so crispy but tender inside. The peach cobbler are to die for. I would definitely come back again. The restaurant is open on selective days only. So check their website and make a reservation accordingly!
