This is my 3rd time to Kosuke; the first two visits were pretty good and today's visit will not result in a repeat customer. Perhaps the ownership has changed from the original Japanese lady who was the owner / cook. I had the spicy miso ramen with chasu and popcorn chicken- the food was totally not a miso ramen, that I'm familiar with. The chasu was hard and rubbery. Salty bamboo shoot was added and this did not pair well with the miso. The miso flavor was extremely watered down.

Kosuke Ramen in Alhambra serves up delicious ramen, and their gyoza is a pleasant surprise—crispy and flavorful. It was my first time trying the gyoza after always going for the mini curry rice, and it didn’t disappoint. Great spot for comfort food!

The broth is the real star here—rich, deeply flavorful, and clearly simmered to perfection. The noodles have that ideal "snap," and the toppings are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Every component feels like it was handled with genuine care.

Kosuke in downtown Alhambra serves one of the best tonkatsu ramen bowls I’ve had in California—rich broth, tender pork, and perfect noodles. Adding $1 for the fried gyoza is a no-brainer—they’re crispy and delicious. The service is excellent, warm, and attentive, with a cozy vibe that feels family-owned. A must-visit spot for ramen lovers.
