Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant

The decor inside is beautiful and the food is really good. The price is more competitive when compared with other high end Chinese restaurants. It’s located at the Arcadia Mall.

Honestly, both overpriced and overhyped for what you get. Because the ambience is so grand, and the prices so high, you expect the food to be celestial - which was not the case. Everything was a little bland. The only dish that I truly enjoyed was the sichuan fried fish. Come here for the ambience, not the food.

The food that we had ordered was delicious. The orange chicken was exceedingly crispy with a nice tang and spice from the thicker sauce and the donpo pork was very tender and decedant. Despite all this, the price, the portion sizes, and the service were all below expectations. The pork that we ordered looked beautiful, but the dish was very shallow and only had about 8 slices of pork on it that covered the vegetables. It was great yet if we had to order a second dish to get full.

Solid place to invite family/guests out to. Upscale interior with good Chinese food.
