Ondam

There’s a new late-night Korean restaurant in Santa Clara that’s perfect for hosting big groups! First up, the budae jjigae or army stew was super satisfying and our server portioned it into four even bowls for us. Then came the Ondam Chicken Platter, a massive spread of three different kinds of wings that practically took over half the table. No complaints here! We also devoured japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and bulgogi gimbap, And of course, we got soju!

✨ Ondam is a super popular Korean restaurant in the South Bay with a wide selection of traditional and modern dishes to choose from. They’re best known for their delicious spicy raw marinated crab, but my favorites are the Seafood Pancake and the Ondam Bossam. I loved the food here, trying new things was fun and my favorite was the meat pancakes 😋

Great Korean food just slow service due to only having 2 waitresses Soondubu and Kalguksu solid 👌

What’s behind the door of this restaurant? Check out this yummy menu of korean comfort dishes you have to try. Something new for us was the bossam which is pork with radish and kimchi. For the chilly night, we also got their cozy budae jiggae which also came with friendly tableside service so that we had equal portions of the yummy stew. The rest of the meal included classic faves like their braised beef ribs, tteokbokki, and seafood pancake.
