About

Palette Tea Garden is a modern dim sum restaurant inside Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo, created by the team behind Koi Palace, Dragon Beaux, and Palette Tea House. Founded by the Ng family, who brought the yum cha tradition from Hong Kong to San Francisco in 1996, the restaurant spans over 8,000 square feet and blends cultural heritage with contemporary flair. The menu features vibrant, colorful dim sum alongside live seafood, Cantonese roast meats, and standout dishes like Iberico Cha Siu Pork and Roasted Peking Duck. A full bar with cocktails rounds out the experience, and a spacious outdoor patio suits guests who enjoy dining al fresco.
