Seven Magic Mountains is an iconic outdoor art installation created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, situated in the Mojave Desert along Interstate 15, about 30 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip. The installation features seven dayglow totems standing 30 to 35 feet high, each built from painted, locally-sourced boulders stacked against a dramatic desert backdrop. Produced by the Art Production Fund and the Nevada Museum of Art, the work offers a vivid contrast between the natural desert landscape and the artificial flow of highway culture. The site is free to visit, with free parking available on-site, and draws visitors traveling between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
