Still family-owned and operated by founder Sherman Harris's son Sam and daughter Janet, the restaurant carries on a tradition of generous portions and scratch-made quality. Bread and desserts are baked fresh daily, and the Famous Sandwich Board features more than 40 options piled sky-high. The menu runs from hearty breakfasts to full dinners, so it suits everything from casual family meals to group celebrations. Sherman's even earned a spot on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, with Guy Fieri personally impressed by the recipes.
