Spicy Lao Kitchen

What warms the soul more than a homecooked meal or a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup. We shared bbq sticks, larb, pad thai, papaya salad and beef salad. I ordered the Khao Piak for myself! This soup is not for those not adventerous of cultural dishes. Was that chicken feet and blood cubes in the soup? Yes. There were also hand pulled noodles and shredded chicken. Add spicy satay and your favorite toppings. What you get is a soothing familiar taste of homestyle cooking with a Lao twist.

The food here always hits, especially the Tom yum wings. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger

Ordered a few things, but my fave was the Lao sausage. It tasted very fresh and flavorful. So good paired with the sticky rice.

Spicy Lao Kitchen has your favorite Lao and Thai dishes! We got their chicken wings, papaya salad and pad see ew! The chicken wings were my favorite, but everything was delicious, including their green thai tea!

There aren’t very many Lao spots in SD, so I was excited to try this place! Lao food is such a unique cuisine & I loved every dish we ordered! Everything was flavorful & the service was great! Overall, I will be coming back in the future!
