crust was good but the custard/filling was too sweet and flavors were off

Na Tart is a new specialty egg tart shop in San Diego! They have a variety of flavors like Taro and Ube, and even a salty version with Pork Sung!

Been hearing about this place & wanted to try it out! We got 4 pieces, the ube cheese, creme brulee, chocolate bobo, & taro salted egg yolk. All of the them were delicious. I love the idea of flavored egg tarts! Each egg tart is around $4-6 each

It was so interesting to have flavored Portuguese egg tarts! They were extremely flakey and tasted pretty good. We got two originals, one matcha, and one tiramisu. A little messy to eat but was a lovely dessert!

The atmosphere was okay, very fast casual with no seating. Do not get the drinks LOL they weren’t that good, not much of the drinks were fragrant or it tasted like they use artificially flavored syrups. The tarts are AMAZING!!! Super flakey and creamy, with an almost custard-like filling with a great variety of Chinese-inspired flavors. If I had a better idea of what egg tarts should cost I could have a better idea of its affordability, but as a dessert it is quite pricey.

SD finally got a egg tart store, really authentic Chinese dessert, so many flavors, definitely a try
