We've been on the hunt for the best ramen in Chicago so I was thrilled to try @stringsramen They have multiple vegan and vegetarian options as well as lots of 🐄🐖meat too. I so appreciate a restaurant with more than one plant based choice

Strings Ramen Shop is definitely a spot worth checking out if you love ramen or a good rice bowl. The atmosphere is super welcoming, with comfy seating, a great Spotify playlist, and really friendly service. I tried the cat rice, which had spicy tuna sashimi, rice, spicy mayo, iwanori, scallions, and a hint of truffle oil—it was packed with flavor. My partner loved the vegetable ramen (mikkusu yasai) as she basically inhaled it! Also, if you post your food on socia media you get free Edamame.

This place was great for a quick bite while we were out running errands. The waitress was so nice, attentive, and kind and I loved the mushroom ramen. So filling and tasty.

Ramen is my favorite food- nothing beats noodles in soup! Strings has a great selection and several vegan options.
