BEST VEGAN BIRRIA TACOS in HOUSTON! These are stew bathed in a melange of chiles & spices, giving it a deep, red hue. The tortillas are filled with tender juicy jackfruit and thrown on the griddle, giving them their look and addictively crispy exterior. These are served with the consommé, or broth from the stew, topped with onions & cilantro. The tacos are dipped in the consommé, making for a multisensory gastronomic experience. These were so good, I couldn’t resist but take more home!

I had the chance to try out The Birria Queen and it was really good! My friends and I all had different items and we wach had the, “WOW, we’re for sure coming back, reactions!” I would come back. Plus I got to talk to Crystal, the owner a bit and got to know her story behind the food truck which is inspiring. I’m trying to get more people to get to know her and her food because its worth it!

This place is a lowkey area with other food trucks if you prefer. This birria combo was a little pricey with the consome, but the crunchy taco shell and juicy meat was worth it. I thought the consome was too salt but the taco was really good.
