Love the food! The service was super friendly and quick. I had the lobster scramble, wifey had the shrimp and grits; both were absolutely delicious. Underrated for most but the coffee was great! I worked in coffee for 10 years and it was an awesome cup. Would recommend to all, the menu left me even more I’d want to try for next visit!

Toasted Gastro Brunch in La Mesa has a good selection of breakfast colorful drinks along with a very nice and flowery decoration. Nice spot for a girls' day out this spring!

My favorites were the salmon (the pickled onions were a nice addition) and lobster toast (good amount of lobster and the bacon added a nice crunch). The quesadilla was filled with a ton of meat but I don't love red meat so it wasn't my top choice. I liked the potatoes in it haha. The red velvet pancakes I would have loved a cream cheese type frosting for that classic tangy flavor.

Can see why this is the last 2 days here. Food is ok, service is slow.
