Veggie craving? I got you. Veggie house is a Chinese spot for plant based fare. It might not look like it but I promise is it! Once you walk in, you’ll want to order asap because it smells great inside! They don’t skip out on flavor either. I got some classic Cantonese dishes and the flavors were on point. My favorites were the crispy mushrooms, Taiwan noodles, and Mongolian soy beef but lots of the dishes were winners. The soy beef looks like real meat but it’s plant based! Promise!

Amazing vegetarian food 🥬

Theres a NEW, completely vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Chinatown! No more worrying about substituting the ingrediants or not being able to eat certain things! The kung pao tofu was delicious, flavorful, and filling! The turmeric tempura mushrooms were lacking some taste however. If you’re in Chicago, definitely try Veggie House! They offer delicious vegetarian Chinese food 😋 I’m not vegetarian myself but this restaurant made me want to become vegetarian because of how GOOD it was!!!

A full vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown! Make sure to order everything extra spicy if you like some heat! Loved the Mongolian beef and stir fry green beans!
