My favorite of all time

You can build your own piping hot bowl of goodness at YGF Malatang. It’s slightly different from hot pot in that you place everything you want in your bowl, (like uncooked veggies, meat, noodles and tofu) then you choose your broth, weigh it, and then it gets sent to the kitchen to get cooked. It comes back out to the dining room ready for you to enjoy… It’s all the things I love about hotpot without the labor! They have locations around the Bay; I went to the Cupertino CA location for lunch.

cheap and tasty just a bit salty

It’s such a cool concept that YGF Malatang offers to customers. You can customize everything from ingredients to soup base to build your own hot soup bowl. Price is reasonable! Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Relocated! But still so good! Hidden gem

Cold season is calling for hot soup. YGF is always my go to place when I crave for hot soup. I love the concept where you pay what you pick. I gotta customize the perfect amount of food for one serving. The only downside about this place is that it’s super claustrophobic. Spaces are extremely tight!
