China Max Dumpling House

We recently went to China Max for their all you can eat buffet and at just $34.99 per person it’s such a great deal! There’s a wide variety of dishes including Chinese, Western, appetizers, desserts, and even fresh seafood. My favorites were the roast duck, steamed fish, and the freshly cooked hot dishes. Everything tasted really good and we left feeling full and satisfied. For the price it’s honestly hard to beat. Great value and definitely a place I’d go back to!

Everything was fresh and flavorful, but the highlight was definitely the Peking duck tacos. Highly recommended!

We did the AYCE option for $34.99, basically you can order their whole menu! For 2 hrs limit. We had a blast; Everything is so good even their dessert options! Our favorites are the pork XLB , beef noodle soup, green beans (yes!) and chinese affogato dessert. Definitely would comeback on another occassion.

I’m a total AYCE and buffet type of gal, so AYCE dumplings was a must try at @chinamaxsandiego and man did they live up to the hype. The XLB was incredible and braised beef noodles was perfect. AYCE DUMPLINGS 🥟

It was already busy at opening on a Sunday morning . Ordered Shu Mai , Lo Mai Gai , Taco Peking Duck , Match (?) lava custard bun , taro balls , Char siu Bun and XLB . All were pretty decent on quite a small menu . The XLB was good , there isn’t much filing in the char siu buns, wasn’t too hot on the Taco Peking duck ( wanton skin too chewy hard ) . Price is high on ala carte menu , probably better off eating AYCE instead ( available weekdays I heard the server saying all day weekdays )
