How do I link my card?

Franki uses Plaid, a secure financial account connection service (also used by Venmo and Cash App), to connect cards for tracking cash-back offers. At this time, only banks supported by Plaid will work to redeem cash back rewards.

How do I withdraw my rewards?

Go to your Franki wallet, ensure you have a connected bank account or debit card, and click the "Withdraw" arrow at the top of your wallet overview to initiate a transfer.

Why do you need my credit card?

We're only able to reward cash back once you've securely shared your card information with us via Plaid. When you're dining out, you just pay with the card you have connected to Franki. No QR code to scan, no codes to type in, and no need to explain anything at the register. You just swipe your card and our system gets a notification with the transaction, then you get rewarded in your Franki Wallet.

We'll never sell or share your personal information. We use Plaid, an industry-leading security software to make sure your information stays safe and anonymous.

We use Plaid to securely link to your bank and/or credit card accounts. Franki never sees your login information or your credit card number. Plaid is trusted by over 8,000 apps including Venmo, Chime, Betterment, Mint.com and Rocket Money to name a few. Additionally, Plaid is the official connection partner of Chase, Amex, Wells Fargo among other financial institutions.

Plaid follows strict security protocols to ensure your data is safe. Plaid employs industry-leading encryption (AES-256, TLS) and maintains strict data privacy policies to ensure your personal information remains safe. Why does my card keep getting disconnected?

For your protection, some banks may refresh access to Plaid to ensure security, which requires you to relink your card from time to time. This helps keep your account safe while ensuring your cash back is processed smoothly.

If this happens, you can easily relink your card, and we'll track any missed purchases from the past 30 days.
