Abuelita Amalia left Guatemala and came to Los Angeles with a passion for cooking and a dream to share the flavors of her country with a new audience. She opened the doors to her very first restaurant in 1994 and never turned back. The authentic cooking of Amalia struck the heart of the community and soon enough multiple new locations would be opened. Two generations later, the original (and tasty) recipes of Abuelita Amalia still fill the hearts and stomachs of happy customers daily!
