In 1971, Brian Olson traveled to his homeland of Germany, where European coffeehouses served as thriving places for friends to gather and relax. He imagined that this "third place", outside of home and work, had potential for a home in America. So Café Intermezzo was born. We provide a space where people can enjoy life at a more measured pace and take an "intermezzo" (intermission) from the hectic demands of life.
