met a friend this morning at Holsem in North Park! I got an orange olive oil cake and a mint matcha latte, made with oat milk. both were divine. the orange cake reminded me of the Sicilian version and this was just as good. I ordered the matcha mint latte hoping it would live up to Copa Vida's mint tea latte and it really did. my friend got the rose matcha latte and a pesto sandwich. only cons: a little pricey, very loud if you're trying to talk, and there's only one bathroom.

only fourth post on Franki and I've been to Holsem twice already??? I can't help it. not captured: the stunningly delicious iced chai latte I had. the pro?? cardamom-forward which I love. the con? I'm not slandering anyone here because I truly cannot be sure, but I *think* my oat milk request might have been overlooked. I happened to have super bad stomach cramps right after and I can't have lactose 😱

🍒🍌☕️ Between the banana and cherries, I’m lovin’ the new coffee trends! I’ve only tried a handful of spots banana related but I finally tried the banana bread cold brew from Holsem Coffee and it was pretty darn good…I’d give it a 7.5/10— a little watery for my taste but that’s probably because it’s a cold brew and not a latte but I’m sure they can switch it up if you ask! ✨

Fun coffee drinks and yummy baked goods in the heart of North Park! I always get their Strawberry Malt Latte, and the Bacon, Cheddar, & Chive Biscuit is so good. Today I got a Hot Pressed Breakfast Sandwich: the toast on that ciabatta was perfect and the havarti sets it off! They are open 8-2p for takeaway, and only have 3 small tables out front to eat there.
