Friendly Tavern is one of my favorite burger spots in SD. They have a simple menu of different smash burgers that are all delicious. The price ranges from $8-$10 a burger which is not bad. There is not parking lot but usually you can find parking in the neighborhoods. There is plenty of seating, which is outdoor, and they’re pet friendly!

Hands down one of my favorite burgers in San Diego. The Friendly OG Dirty Flat top burger is sooooo bomb. No substitutions are accepted, which I stand behind. You get two smash burgers with cheese, onions, and garlic spread. Simple. Delicious. And done just right! #Friendly #Burgers #NorthPark

Flat top burgers and fries

A bigger #burger menu than the one on 30th, The Friendly Tavern may not have pizza, but they have burger specials that are only at this location! This week they had a Breakfast Burger that was so good! The #dirtyflattop #cheeseburger is always a must have too. I added some fries, and their sauce sides are 2/$1, so I got garlic aioli and bbq. They “respectfully decline substitutions” bc everything is good as is! You have to try a dirty flat top, if you haven’t yet. Call it in and get it to go!

#TheFriendly is my favoriteeee #burger in SD. It's a pretty simple no-frills dirty flat top burger, but the garlic aioli makes it a standout. The Tavern location has alcohol, and multiple burger options compared to the OG location. There is also plenty of outdoor seating.

A local friend recommended this lowkey spot for me. They make really delicious cheese burgers. I really like their Garlic Aioli! Fries are so crispy and addictive!
