Filoli Historic House & Garden

Make sure to plan a trip to Filoli Gardens during Christmas season. It’s very worth it. The estate is unique for the Bay Are. It’s a perfect time to enjoy the ambience and history. Don’t forget to see the bonsais at the Cafe!! #garden #historic

We had a delicious hotpot lunch at MuMu in Foster-city and decided to come here for a walk and chill.. so glad we did, it wasn’t crowded like the first time we went. It was so relaxing, but at the same time, the mansion felt a bit haunted and creepy!! (ok maybe I shouldn’t walk into any of the rooms by myself.. lol.. ) The audio made it more creepy, with only a few people in the whole mansion instead of 80-100 people. Overall, the garden was so relaxing. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday people.

A historic house and gardens in Redwood City. Beautiful to check out and a very popular place to go take pictures at. You could easily spend a few hours here touring the house and gardens and browsing the gift shop and flower shops. This place is kid-friendly and wheel-chair friendly. Tickets are $36/adult, $26/child, $34 senior, and $32 student/teacher/military discounts. The second floor of the house is currently closed.

My mom is a member and she was excited to share one of her favorite places. What beautiful gardens and landscaping plus a gift shop filled with awesome treasures. There’s a troll exhibit currently yet there are special events year round. Lovely spot to spend a day and there’s a wonderful cafe. Next time I’ll explore the historic mansion.
