My favorite place in La Brea because they offer healthy and delicious Ukrainian food. They’re a cute cafe with very nice atmosphere and free wifi too. Totally recommend!

Mom, Please in Mid Wilshire serves traditional, comforting Ukrainian dishes. We tried the varenyky (potato dumplings) that were topped in a mushroom cream sauce, holubtsi (stuffed cabbage with beef), syrnyky (cottage cheese pancakes) with berries and custard, and garlic toast with a poached egg.

Breakfast plate is loaded with avocado potatoes tomato and bacon! This is a fantastic Ukrainian cafe. The service was so good because I came after breakfast time but they still made the breakfast for me!

I’ve never had Ukrainian food prior to this day but it won’t be my last. The potato varynyky were to die for with how soft and tender the dough was. The mlyntsi was such a great combination of sweet crepe batter and savory smoked salmon. Every dish was light and refreshing but strong in flavor which I loved.
