Kona Grill - Cincinnati

Good fresh sushi, solid drinks, and an ambiance somewhere between everyday bar and classy, Kona Grill is a bit of an oddity to me. Their food is good, if overpriced, and the service is hit or miss. When its a hit it's great, but it's not always a hit. #FlashDashWeek2

My date and I absolutely loved both the starters we had here. avocado egg rolls and seared sea bass sliders, either of these could have been an entree for us. I also really like to eat so we went ahead and ordered real entrees too, those were equally as fantastic. very large servings, excellent execution, friendly service. oh yeah and the cheesecake? Sweet, tart, creamy and rich.

I don't love this place, because the prices are a little ridiculous, but the quality is great, the service is friendly, and I've never once had a bad meal here. definitely worth a trip if you're craving some impressive appetizers, small bites, fresh fish and fresh sushi. never tried their steaks, but they absolutely nail everything else.
