📍 Mitsuru Cafe Los Angeles, CA If you’re visiting Little Tokyo, you must visit Mitsuru Cafe for some Mitarashi dango. It’s so freaking chewy and delicious. The Imagawayaki (red bean cakes) are freshly made off the griddles- these round pancake with andazuki red bean paste in the middle, has the perfect balance of sweetness!

So happy this little to go spot is open! Very rarely do we have a chance to stop by here, and the little skewers and small bites are so fun. Not pictured was my favorite red bean cake! Minimum order for card is $15

Loveeeeee this place ❤️ When I’m in Little Tokyo, I always have to stop by this place to get Imagawayaki💕 It’s been around for soooo long and it’s yummy 🤤 Imagawayaki is similar to Taiyaki but it’s oblong and the dough is a bit chewy and soft with the anko (red bean) on the inside. A simple but delicious dessert☺️

Long line at times, but the pricepoint is really good here for red bean cakes or various fried snacks such as takoyaki, fried pork shu mai, shrimp balls, & more. They takoyaki was bomb. Would go back again!
