It comes at a premium but man it is really the best

tea is very smooth here, actually prefer the pure teas because the milk teas skew milky. not the biggest fan of their boba though, on the smaller end and the coconut sugar is somewhat of a distracting flavor. drinks are on the pricier side for boba

Odd One Out in Pasadena was such a nice little surprise. It really feels like a hole-in-the-wall, and with so many flashy tea shops around, it’s easy to overlook this one. But the drinks are legit—matcha is hand-whisked, teas are actually extracted, and you can taste the real ingredients. Their signature mochi is also really good, super chewy and reminded me a lot of A MA Handmade. No fancy interior and the branding feels a bit outdated, but the drinks themselves are solid and worth the stop.

Great little tea shop! They have some samples which makes it much easier to decide. Staff were nice and patient. Great topping options.
