Saffron Indian Bistro

This cold weather had me craving the warming spices of Indian food, so I checked out Saffron’s location in downtown San Carlos. It’s a family-owned restaurant that’s also on the Michelin Guide, so you know it’s going to be special! With a revamped menu, I was excited to try Saffron’s appetizers or chaat, Indian savory snacks that are perfect for sharing! Yall know whenever I see puri on the menu I get it, and I was also really into this Rawa fried shrimp with these flowers and chicken sliders.

The interior is lovely! Drinks and food are always delicious. If you enjoy, try their sister restaurant Rasa in Burlingame (which has preciously held a Michelin star).
