Sorrento

Nice restaurant with a pleasant interior, large covered patio, and sidewalk seating. One starter, two pizzas, and one glass of wine came to just over $100 with tip, so not cheap. The pizzas were good but not outstanding for Little Italy, and the Margherita was oversalted. Service was mixed: very quick on arrival, but we had to search for someone to pay. Overall, a mixed experience.

First time that I didn’t order their gnocchi, which I think is the best in San Diego. The lamb chops and pasta and seafood was just as fantastic.
