The penthouse is the most gorgeous restaurant to have breakfast at with family and have a gorgeous view of the beach

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years. This is probably the third or fourth owner for as long as I’ve been coming here, but I believe they’ve been here since about 2008 as The Penthouse restaurant which is at the top of the Huntley hotel on second Street just south of California Avenue. The food was outstanding and I thought because of the view and how good the service was it was a pretty good value for your money. It’s definitely pricey but good!

I wasn’t as wowed as I was expecting with this place, but the service was really great and the overall vibe it was good for a date night

A very popular rooftop dining spot in Santa Monica! Took my mom for her first time to celebrate her. First time having Oysters and really enjoyed their Chocolate Mille-Feuille, definitely a must try! IG: @ammysalamii
