The Vale Public House

The Vale Public House tells the story of a Scottish expat who came to New York and spent his time as bartender entertaining and serving customers on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for the last 20 years meeting his partner, who’s entire family hails from Kearny New Jersey, a notoriously Scottish neighborhood outside of Newark New Jersey, ten years ago. Forming a friendship, the two bring their story to their neighborhood of Hamilton Heights. Creating an atmosphere welcoming to anyone, The Vale is the safe space in the neighborhood where the customer’s comfort can be achieved at any level. Authentically Scottish, The Vale’s half pint pours, comfort food and social snugs provides its customers with a hometown hangout vibe and a place that everyone can call “theirs”.
