For food we really wanted to try the octopus but they didn't have it :( so instead we ordered the yellowtail aguachile. Also ordered the corn soup, brussel sprouts salad and the carne adovada. A cute, intimate place for date night. Really enjoyed the vibe. The food was good, although the menu is fairly bread heavy (it’s fresh and delicious though!). Only wish they served cocktails - I understand why they don’t due to the lack of space. Would still recommend.

Quaint place in Mission Hills. Feels like Europe!

The citrus octopus and sweet corn soup are to die for!! Both dishes have been consistently good every time I come here. Carne adovada was very tasty, the meat was super soft and the onion added some nice crunch. The richness in the creamy polenta paired very well with the roasted mushrooms which made the whole dish quite delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend!

Visited the cutest New Mexican restaurant (the state of New Mexico inspired) to celebrate my friend’s birthday! Named 2024 restaurant of the year San Diego, Wolf in the Woods features tapa style dishes and has such quaint and homey vibes. My absolute favorite was the sweet corn soup, but we also ordered the octopus, jamon iberico de bollata, carne adovada, brussel sprout salad, and mini burger! Inside of the restaurant is pretty tiny but has cute desert decor, & there’s outdoor seating as well!
