Cane Rosso is a celebrated Neapolitan pizzeria rooted in Dallas's Deep Ellum neighborhood, founded by Jay Jerrier after he trained with Master Pizzaiolos at AVPN and built a wood-burning oven in his own backyard. The kitchen makes fresh dough daily with Italian-imported "OO" flour, hand-crushes San Marzano tomatoes for their sauce, and pulls fresh mozzarella in-house every day. Each pizza is cooked at 900 degrees in a wood-fired oven imported from Italy, producing a light, slightly charred crust with deep, authentic flavor. Executive Chef Stan Rodrigues also oversees a menu of fresh pastas, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Named "Best Pizza in Dallas" by D Magazine and featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, the restaurant suits everything from date nights to family gatherings.
